Speed    = Distance ÷ Time
Distance = Speed × Time
Time     = Distance ÷ Speed
Avg Speed = 2uv ÷ (u+v)   [equal distances]
Relative Speed = u+v [opposite] / u−v [same dir]

⚡ Example per formula

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

360 km in 4 h → Speed = 90 km/h

Distance = Speed × Time

60 km/h × 3 h = 180 km

Time = Distance ÷ Speed

180 km ÷ 60 km/h = 3 hours

Avg Speed = 2uv ÷ (u+v) [equal distances]

60 & 40 km/h equal distances → 2(60)(40)/100 = 48 km/h

Relative Speed = u+v [opposite] / u−v [same dir]

Trains 60+90 km/h opposite → close gap at 150 km/h
